Thankful

I'll admit, this blog has taken a bit of a back-seat this month. Going through various ups and downs personally has meant that I've spent a lot of my spare time with my family and with the Lord, rather than with my sketchbook and computer. But that is a good thing. I often need reminders of what in life is most important, and what I want to give my heart to on a daily basis. The temptation is to think that if I don't spend a certain amount of time each day building my brand, creating art, and advertising for myself, then I will quickly be forgotten. But my desire through this little business of mine is not to bring myself glory and recognition, but to bring glory to God and honor him in all that I do.

We are currently entering into my favorite time of the year. I LOVE the fall. I love the cool weather, breaking out my boots and tights, and the holiday season. November is a month that continually reminds me to be thankful.

I created some stationery to reflect my love of the fall and Thanksgiving. I hope that it will remind you of all you have to be thankful for! And maybe it will even inspire you to send a loving message to someone who means a lot to you. Receiving mail is such a gift - it shows that not only are you thinking fondly of someone, but you thought enough of them to sit down for a few moments of your day and write with your own hand a message to them.
