Finding Inspiration

I suppose I was somewhat inspired after my last post about working with my hands on drawings, because I recently decided to challenge myself to draw every day to seek inspiration. As much as I love a lot of what I do design-wise, at times I feel like I haven't quite fount my "niche." I think I have a lot of strengths as a designer and I have created work I am very proud of, but I want to take my design work to the next level and really figure out what I want to be about as a designer. I have felt since college that my strength in drawing is black and white pen and ink drawings. So I want to explore that avenue and see what happens. So far it has been a lot of fun! I want to share from time to time what I am coming up with, so here you have a few of my sketches so far!

I am especially in love with the drawing of my house, and have pushed that idea further with drawing other houses. I want to continue with the architectural sketches because I think it is really fun and I am most pleased with the results!
